Round antique french pink and cream floral fabric covered box, with gorgeous soft burgundy fabric lining. Pearl button on lid of bog and burgundy cord handle. Antique french fabric covered boudoir boxes, in gorgeous floral fabrics. These boxes were owned by most French women from 1850's into the 1900s. They kept very special treasures and personal possessions in them, such as gloves, collars, lace, jewellery, fans and love letters. The fabric covering and interior may be a little time worn or faded but this is part of it's history and gives each piece it's own warmth and charm. In modern times they are perfect for keeping your sewing projects organised or storing your fabrics and notions!
In good condition, some discolouration of fabric and wear due to age. Some of the padding inside has disintegrated.
