Antique French 'Vallauris Alpes-Martimes' Leaf Platter

Antique French Oval Leaf Platter. Beautiful deep green glaze and organis three dimensional shape. Circa 1900.

Stamped on the base with 'Vallauris AM', indicating it was made in one of the oldest and most famous pottery towns in France - located on the South Eastern coast.

Size approx: 7 cm (H) x 37 cm (L) x 26 cm (W)

Very good condition. Small amount of crazing due to age and yellowing/discolouration, and small sections of imperfect glaze due to the handmade nature of the piece. Small chip on back rim, not visible from front.
