Antique French Silver Baby Bell Rattles

Antique French Silver Baby Bell Rattles. Circa 1900-1940s. Sold seperately. 

Beautiful antique French silver rattles for babies, with metal ball inside for bell chime. 

Little boy in waistcoat and top hat - stamped with EPNS (plated silver) with melamine chew/holder ring. Beautifully detailled design with very cute bow cravat and jaunty angle of his hat. 
Size approx: 11.5 cm (H) x 5.5 cm (W) x 2 cm (D)

Swan - Sweet classical design with smooth wooden teething/holding ring. Stamped with '800', indicating 'Continental silver', a silver alloy of 80% pure silver which is more durable than sterling silver, so was used throughout 18th and early 19th century for tableware and items that would be heavily used such as baby rattles.
Size approx: 8 cm (H) x 4.5 cm (W) x 2 cm (D)

Excellent condition with lovely aged patina. Signs of wear, including small dents and sections of discolouration due to age. See photos for details.
