Antique French lace jabot. Early machine embroidery on net. Beautiful floral design with fine scalloped edge. A 'Jabot' was a detatchable ruffle pinned to the front of a shirt or dress by both men and women throughout the 19th century. Circa 1880s.
Good condition, some discolouration and damage due to age.
