Antique French Gien 'Saint Germain' Floral Ceramic Jug

Beautiful antique French ceramic jug with blue floral transferware design. Stamped with makers mark of famous French faience (or earthenware) manufactuer. Stamp is a 3 tower castle with crown and ribbon garland, and reads 'Porcelaine opaque de Gien, Terre de Fer, Saint Germain', dating the jug to between 1886 and 1938.

Size approx: 25 cm (L) x 18 cm (W) x 13.5 cm (H)

Very good condition. Overall crazing due to age and yellowing/discolouration, and sections of imperfect glaze due to the handmade nature of the piece.
