Antique French Art Deco Cane Basket - Black & Ecru

This unique Art Deco antique French hand woven cane and linen basket with lid has lovely details such as brass fastenings, and incredibly skilled decorative weaving throughout. Circa 1900.

Overall very good condition, with wear and tear due to age, including damaged sections of linen ribbon and cane, particularly on one broken hinge and torn linen ribbon above the front fastening. See photos for detail.
