Antique Dutch 1890 Cross Stitch Sampler. A gorgeous hand made piece, showing terrific skill and understated simplicity in its design. Simple linen base with red thread used throughout. Dated 1890. Created by Irma Werrept, of Rumpst (now known as Rumpt), a village in the Betuwe region in the Netherlands.
Some signs of age - discolouration of the fabric and small holes . Overall very good condition.
