Striking black background sets off the composition. Beautiful carved timber and moulded plaster gilt frame. Signed and dated 1899. Artist unknown, but signature has initials and 'Wolf'.

Overall excellent condition for age. Small imperfection and crazing of varnish. Frame has cracked in places with time, but still structurally sound. See photos for details
