Antique Belgian 'Pansy' Bois de Spa - Laquered Box

A beautiful antique Belgian 'Bois de Spa' black laquered box. Featuring lovely pansy and forget-me-not floral decoupage top, and three compartments inside. Originally for sewing notions or ladies 'toilette' items - jewellery, brushes, scissors, hair pins etc. Circa 1900.

Overall excellent good condition, with small amount of wear and tear due to age. Small chip inside on one corner, one rusted hinge and catch no longer fastens. See photos for detail.
