Antique French Embroidery Sampler Silk Pillow. A gorgeous hand made piece, showing terrific skill and creativity in its design. Beautiful ivory silk pillow base with birds on one side and sheep on the other. Demonstrating different skills in design and composition. Crochet bobble decorations on each corner. Circa 1880s.

Some signs of age - discolouration of the fabric and small holes . Overall very good condition.
