Antique French Silver Cherub Commemorative Medal. Imprinted with the engravers name 'Lorthior' being Pierre-Joseph Lorthior 1733-1805. The back has the coat of arms of each family and the front has 3 cherubs and doves which would symbolise the birth of a child. This medallion was later minted around 1880 as the style was so popular.
