Antique French Silver 1822 Award Medal Necklace. Featuring beautiful award medal dated 27th July 1822. Front of the medal reads "comité des expertises" with the figure of a woman representing 'commerce & industry' writing in a ledger book, surrounded by good for trade and scale for balance. Back shows text surrounded by a laurel wreath "Ministère du Commerce et de l'Industrie. Loi du 27 juillet 1822". Chain features antique French hallmarked silver watch fob chain with two beautifull engraved floral sliders.

An exceptional piece of heirloom jewellery. Boar's head French silver hallmark. Circa 1880. Extra sterling silver chain and components. 

Size: 50 cm chain length. 3.5cm diameter of coin.
